The coaching and support personnel for the next T20I series between Pakistan and Afghanistan, which is set to begin on March 24th, have been released by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB).

According to media sources, PCB has named former cricketer Abdul Rehman as the series’ head coach. Renowned former pacer Umar Gul will serve as the series’ bowling coach.

Further information reveals that Abdul Majeed will go with the team as a fielding consultant and that Mohammad Yousuf, a legendary batsman, will serve as the national team’s batting coach.

The Men in Green will have Drikus Simon as their official trainer, Cliffe Deacon as their physiotherapist, Talha Ijaz as their analyst, Mansoor Rana as their manager, and Ahsan Nagi as their media liaison.

The 15-person young squad for the white-ball series was revealed by the Pakistan Cricket Board yesterday. Shadab Khan, an all-rounder, will captain the team in place of Babar Azam.

Prior to the ODI and T20I series against New Zealand, it is said that the management was focused on resting some top players, including Babar Azam, Shaheen Afridi, and Rizwan.

The United Arab Emirates (UAE) will host the three-game T20I series against Afghanistan, which is set to begin on March 24 at Sharjah Cricket Stadium.
