The much-awaited built-up property (BuP)?award for Sector C-15 has been announced by the Capital Development Authority (CDA).
According to details, the CDA purchased this sector in 2008 using a land-sharing scheme that promised landowners a developed plot of one kanal in exchange for four kanals of their land.
Despite the fact that the land award was announced in 2008, the BuP award has been pending until now. The BuP award was only announced in 2016, excluding the town of Dhoke Baba Ashraf.
However, under the direction of the CDA management, Deputy Commissioner CDA Sardar Asif recently took action and officially declared the pending grant for the village. As a result, 287 people were considered eligible for CDA cash or plot benefits for their built-up property.
Moreover, individuals whose names were included on the B-list were unable to furnish the required information to the CDA.?The information confirmed that these people can contact the CDA with the relevant documentation to get their benefits.
The CDA worked with the ICT revenue department before announcing the award to ensure correctness and openness, and the final lists were signed by two ICT officers before the formal release,?officials said.
With regard to?the recently?announced BuP award in 2016, the DC has put in place measures to expedite the process. and declared that no paperwork issued after the announcement of the 2016 prize will be accepted. As there were doubts regarding the legitimacy of certain names on the B-list, this decision was made to avoid the submission of false claims.
