Pakistani scriptwriter and dramatist Khalil-ur-Rehman Qamar was kidnapped and robbed in Lahore, and allegedly got back after paying ransom.
Punjab Police however took rapid action, arresting a group of people including Amna Arooj, the actual accused in the honey trap case. Starting probe that Amna Arooj is a resident of Gujranwala and was involved in the blackmailing of high-profile members.
In her statement to police, Amna said she was in touch with Khalil-ur-Rehman Qamar for quite some time, exchanging pictures, and making phone calls. She said Khalil-ur-Rehman Qamar requested to meet her and she welcomed him to her residence in Bahria Town.

When Qamar arrived at the site at midnight, the associates of Amna held the author and attacked him.
Lahore police kept a 12-member gang, including a lady, engaged in a honey-trapping plan focusing on the acclaimed dramatist Khalil-ur-Rehman Qamar.
The group was found with the latest weapons, a huge amount of cash, and cell phones. Authorities are currently searching for more victims of this criminal organization.

An alleged video of Khalil, who was honey-trapped by the young lady, is doing rounds online, showing the writer half naked, kissing the young girl passionately. The man, who is supposed to be Khalil, first engaged in a discussion with the young lady, and later engaged in compromising acts.
In a press briefing, DIG Imran Kishwar detailed the case, saying Qamar was restricted by doctors from going out during the day, leading him to agree to late-night meetings.

According to Khalil, Amna tempted him to visit her home to discuss a project. He was then kidnapped by a group of men who robbed him and demanded a large ransom.
Khalil was then reportedly tortured, moved among areas, and had his cell phone, watch, and money taken. The kidnappers also withdrew cash using his ATM card, and the writer was eventually blindfolded and left in a deserted area.
Recently, Hassan Shah, the mastermind of the entire episode, was arrested alongside his accomplice Rafiq, as the group included ladies comes on police radar.

Authorities have divulged new details in the honey-trap case including popular writer Khalilur Rehman Qamar, uncovering a meticulously mastermind plot by the culprits.
The group behind the plan had already positioned cameras all through the house before inviting Qamar. A recently surfaced video shows a lady, part of a honey-trapped, setting up a camera with her partner.
As per the police investigation, the suspects set cameras in different areas, incorporating directly in front of the sofa where Qamar was seated. The investigation uncovers that the lady and her accomplice thoroughly checked the camera angles to ensure broad coverage.
Police found more cameras positioned close to window curtains and doors.
Before Qamar’s arrival, the cameras were adjusted to record, catching all conversations and connections with the dramatist. This detailed planning underscores the planned idea of the honey-trap activity. The investigation revealed that the suspects monitored the recordings all through Qamar’s visit.
The suspects, incorporating the lady found in the video, have been captured as the investigation proceeds. This new proof is expected to play an important part in the legal proceedings against the accused.
