The Lahore Development Authority (LDA) has stated that the fourth poll for plot number allocation will take place in December 2022. However, the specific date has yet to be declared by the administration.

According to the advertisement, PKR 1.5 billion has been filed to the national exchequer for the acquisition of land in the LDA City’s Jinnah Sector, and the legalities for the land acquisition process are in full motion.

Landowners interested in purchasing plots/files in LDA City are encouraged to pitch their property for the housing project, which will soon be included in the newest ballot.

It was stressed that only those files whose exemption letters had been provided by the authorities would be included in the vote. File owners who have not yet received their exemption letters are encouraged to contact their respective development partners/landowners in order to obtain exemption letters before the end of the month.

Furthermore, the LDA has issued a public warning that anyone interested in purchasing files from landowners should verify entitlement letters before purchasing and ensure that the application for the issuance letter for exemption letters has been submitted to the LDA’s office in accordance with the requirements.

According to press reports, the Lahore Development Authority (LDA) held a computerized poll last month to allocate commercial plots in LDA City’s Jinnah Sector.

The balloting was overseen by LDA Director General (DG) Amir Ahmad Khan at the LDA offices in Johar Town. DG Amir hit the button, and all files that had submitted half of their necessary sum were included. File holders can confirm their identities by visiting the LDA’s official website for more information.

Further details revealed that the computerized balloting was carried out under the supervision of the Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB) to maintain consumer transparency and confidence. LDA DG Amir noted on the occasion that the authorities are making every effort to support rapid development and complete transparency in the industry. He asked that the remaining consumers pay their dues so that they might be included in the next balloting.
