A spin-off of the crime series “Money Heist,” “Berlin” is being teased by the world’s largest streaming platform, Netflix.
The upcoming new series “Berlin,” a spinoff to the original series, is one of the numerous iterations of the Spanish criminal series that came after the remarkable popularity of the first “La Casa De Papel” or “Money Heist.”
The new cast for the upcoming heist in the prequel series, which will be focused around Berlin, one of the characters from “Money Heist,” has been released by Netflix. The most recent teaser introduces the team of six, led by Professor Berlin’s senior brother and second-in-command Keila, Cameron, Roi, Damián, and Bruce.
The character’s introduction offered viewers a good impression of the crew’s diverse personalities and their potential roles in the upcoming series.
In addition, the teaser video’s punchline, “Mixing love and heists isn’t always a bad idea,” may be a clue at the potential romance viewers might anticipate between Berlin and new?entrants.
Fans may anticipate the Professor’s reappearance later in the series, which may showcase the relationship between the brothers that inspired the activities in the original series, as the events in the new series are set before those that were featured in the global success.
Money Heist Berlin Cast
In the new series, Spanish actor Pedro Alonso, who played Andrés de Fonollosa, nicknamed Berlin in “Money Heist,” will return to the role. Alongside him will be seen Michelle Jenner as Keila, Tristán Ulloa as Damián, Begoña Vargas as Cameron, Julio Peña Fernández as Roi and Joel Sánchez as Bruce.
