Abdul Majeed, an IT professional turned bodybuilder from Pakistan, secured the Mr. Universe title and two gold awards at the 2024 World Fitness Federation occasion in Las Vegas.
Majeed procured his professional card by getting gold in both the open masters and super extreme categories, denoting a huge achievement in his profession. Beginning at Core Karachi Gym, he immediately built a standing as a dedicated fitness professional, ceaselessly competing and progressing in weightlifting and bodybuilding.
His achievement in Las Vegas, a contest with members from 42 nations, comes after years of rigorous preparation and dedication. Majeed’s journey to the top included titles like Mr. Karachi in 2014 and Mr. Pakistan in 2020, alongside dealing with different tasks to make his dream come true.
“Getting a pro card is every bodybuilder’s dream. I have worked hard for six months for this event,” Abdul told reporters. “There were a few difficulties; it was costly too, and I have dealt with all of that all alone. However, it was my dream.
“Overall, I was exceptionally blissful when I won my medals. I had just been given the Pakistani flag, I cried and took pictures and videos, but I was so happy when they announced my name. I had finally fulfilled a lifelong dream. I was overwhelmed. It is a huge achievement, and it was trying with such amazing ability from 42 nations.”
Abdul is presently settled in Dubai as he works there, and he added that he had been upheld by the World Fitness Federation Pakistan, which assisted him with representing Pakistan.
He expressed those two different bodybuilders represented Pakistan in Las Vegas, and one got a gold medal while the other got a silver medal.
