A young Pakistani cybersecurity expert, Usama Saleem, has built a reputation and gained prominence by being presented in the prestigious Hall of Fame of NASA. He is 25 years old and from Karachi, Pakistan, and has been applauded and acknowledged for his outstanding efforts in identifying two crucial security loopholes that could have revealed private NASA data.

His expertise lies in Azure security, SIEMs, Defender XDR, and Microsoft Sentinel, and he is presently pursuing a master’s degree in cybersecurity from NIST.  

The resume of Usama Saleem includes over 20 certifications, including Microsoft Cybersecurity Architect and CEH Practical. His strong commitment to continuous learning has been admired by Microsoft, which named him a Sentinel Black Belt in both 2023 and 2024.
