However, Pakistan must acknowledge that outdated strategies no longer suffice. Saudi Arabia is diversifying its economy, emphasizing digitalization and service sector expansion. Furthermore, Pakistan can contribute to Saudi Arabia’s human capital by providing quality education and medical professionals, leveraging its substantial talent pool in these fields.
Environmental cooperation is another promising avenue. Saudi Arabia’s commitment to environmental sustainability offers a chance for Pakistan to share its expertise in areas like afforestation, water management, and climate change mitigation.
The Saudi food market, driven by population growth and rising living standards, presents a substantial opportunity for Pakistan, particularly in halal meat, dairy products, fruits, and vegetables. Pakistan’s proximity and competitive advantage make it an ideal source for food imports. A strategic policy could significantly expand Pakistan’s presence in this market, benefiting both countries.
