The drama is concerned with the story of a girl named Maya, played by Saba Qamar. She belongs to a middle-class family where getting the daughters married is a big responsibility. Her father, Nisar, gives her hand in marriage to a rich man (Shujat) who owns a mansion in order to safeguard his daughter's future.
