Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi on Wednesday said the Jinnah Avenue underpass would be opened to traffic on December 25.
The minister made the declaration during his visit to the F-8 Exchange Chowk Interchange on Jinnah Avenue and Serena Chowk Interchange projects, according to a press release issued by the interior ministry.
During his visit to the under-construction Jinnah Road Interchange, the interior minister valued the worker for hire and the Islamabad organization for finishing the underpass in only 43 days and said that the F-8 Exchange Chowk Interchange will be initiated in the second seven-day stretch of February after completion of the flyover and loops too.

The announcement was made during his visit to progress at the F-8 Exchange Chowk Interchange and the Serena Chowk Exchange, as per an official statement from the interior ministry.

The Capital Development Authority (CDA) officials guaranteed that the underpass would fulfill the tight time constraint, while the flyover is too. The minister declared during his visit to the Serena Exchange project that the first week of January would stamp its official opening. The objective of the 60-day project was to further develop traffic control in the capital.
In the two areas, Minister Naqvi lauded the employees, contractors, and CDA delegates and encouraged them to proceed with their persistent efforts and commitment. He underlined that the goals of these tasks are to improve Islamabad’s traffic stream incredibly and give the latest infrastructure.
Alongside other high-ranking officials and contractors, CDA Director Muhammad Ali Randhawa gave the minister a report on the projects’ status. For these massive infrastructure projects, the minister underlined the significance of ensuring on-time delivery and elevated standards of quality.
