The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has secured its position as the biggest importer of Pakistani mangoes, as per a report presented by the Ministry of Commerce to the National Assembly. Over the past five years, Pakistan has traded mangoes worth $159.74 million to the UAE, solidifying its status as the main destination for the country’s most famous fruit.
The report also featured other significant product markets for Pakistani mangoes. Over the most recent five years, the United Kingdom imported mangoes esteemed at $131.96 million, while Kazakhstan was one more key purchaser with imports worth $93.86 million. Oman followed with $39.88 million in mango imports, while Afghanistan got shipments valued at $35.98 million, and Saudi Arabia imported $29.61 million worth of mangoes.
Pakistan exported mangoes esteemed at $632.003 million over the last few years. The report also noticed that Pakistan sent out citrus fruits worth $30.9 million during the ongoing fiscal year.
Pakistani mangoes, known for their best taste and quality, remain a famous export product, contributing essentially to the country’s agricultural exports. The government keeps on focusing on growing business sector access to these fruits to support trade revenues and reinforce ties with global purchasers
