Pakistan is set to initiate its first AI (artificial intelligence) college in Lahore, as declared by Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz. The university will be arranged inside the Nawaz Sharif IT City, denoting a significant development in the country’s educational area. 

The CM made this announcement while addressing a ceremony for position holders from the Punjab Boards. 

“AI University will offer advanced education and give IT abilities that are popular around the world,” said the CM. 

Recently, in the spring, the Chief Minister of Punjab conceded endorsement for the IT City project, which spans 853 sections of land (6,824 Kanal) close to PKLI in Lahore. 

She said that Punjab is launching a scholarship program with Rs 25 billion, which will assist skilled students with getting instruction at prestigious universities like LUMS, IBA, COMSATS, FAST, and others. 

CM Maryam further expressed that after acquiring these IT abilities, the young won’t need to wander erratically, and they will secure positions rapidly.
