One of the ceremony’s high points was the PSL 8 anthem’s debut, performed by the outstanding Abdullah Siddiqui, Asim Azhar, Faris Shafi, and Shae Gill. Famous composer Sahir Ali Bagga and talented singer Aima Baig both gave musical performances for the audience.

Quetta and Peshawar will host PSL games in 2024, according to a declaration made by Najam Sethi, chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board’s Management Committee, during the ceremony.

Multan Sultans, the 2021 champions, will play host to Lahore Qalandars, the current champions, in the tournament’s opening match.

On March 19, the championship and closing ceremonies will take place in Lahore, the host city of the playoffs.

Karachi and Lahore will each host nine games, while Rawalpindi will host 11. Multan will host five games at home.

The afternoon games will kick off at 2:00 PM local time, while the evening games in Karachi, Lahore, and Rawalpindi will start at 7:00 PM.

Except for the tournament opener, which begins at 8 p.m., evening matches in Multan will begin at 6 p.m.
