A New Zealand Cricket (NZC) delegation on Thursday visited Karachi’s National Stadium to review the plans for the arrangements for the ODI tri-series, booked to be played in February next year.
The NZC delegation, including New Zealand Players’ Association representative Brad Rodden and security consultant Reg Dickason, was welcomed by Pakistan Cricket Board’s (PCB) Director of International Cricket Usman Wahla and Senior Supervisor Arshad Khan.
The delegation assessed the stadium’s offices and continuous renovations in anticipation of the ICC Men’s Champions Trophy 2025, set to occur from February 19 to March 9. Before arriving in Karachi, the group also examined Rawalpindi Stadium and Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium as part of their visit.
The ODI tri-series will act as a warm-up for the Champions Trophy, permitting each of the three groups to calibrate their abilities in front of the global tournament. Matches will happen in Multan from February 8 to 14, 2025.

The visiting delegation visited the National Stadium Karachi, reviewing the recently constructed building intended for the Champions Trophy.
Key individuals from the designation included New Zealand Players’ Association representative Brad Rogan and security consultant Reg Dickason.
Prior, the delegation had also visited Rawalpindi and Lahore as a feature of their assessment. Before the Champions Trophy, Pakistan will play a tri-nation series against South Africa and New Zealand.
