Ahmad Rizwan, the vice-captain and wicketkeeper-batter for Pakistan, has inked a new, multi-year deal with Grey Nicolls, a reputable manufacturer of bats for international cricket players.
“We are thrilled to announce that Mohammad Rizwan has signed a new contract to remain a Gray-Nicolls athlete on a multi-year deal,” Gray-Nicolls said in a statement posted today on their website and the social media platform “X.”
In the meantime, Rizwan’s bat will be given away as part of the celebration of Grey Nicolls’ competition to mark the signing of his new deal. The competition will come to an end on March 1st.
With 77 sixes, the wicketkeeper-batter recently created history by becoming the most prolific sixer in Pakistani cricket history, surpassing the 76 sixes scored by former all-rounder Mohammad Hafeez.
Particularly in T20Is, Rizwan is an important member of the Pakistani team. He has helped the team score a lot of runs and has often used his bat to win games.
Conversely, Gray-Nicolls is a well-known brand in the cricket world, and they were fortunate to have star batsman Babar Azam as one of their valued brand ambassadors last year.
Since Gray-Nicolls has continuously provided Babar Azam with top-notch cricket bats, this cooperation has proven to be very successful and has cemented Gray-Nicolls’ reputation as a reliable supplier of high-end cricket equipment.
