In a new virtual interview with an Indian publication, actor Mawra Hocane spoke about the incredible success of her Bollywood debut, ‘Sanam Teri Kasam,’ and stated that if given a chance, she would love to co-star with Bollywood A-listers like Salman Khan or Ranbir Kapoor.
“There are so many people; [I want to work with] however, I would honestly want to do a movie with Salman Khan, sir, because I’ve been a big fan of him and have watched all his films at the same time as growing up,” she said. “I really desire he doesn’t retire anytime soon. I need him to work for all time and hope there’s an opportunity where I fit the part and can be a part of his movie.”
“Additionally, Ranbir Kapoor, I would want to work with him… I would like to do a film like Rockstar with him; it’s far from another film that I’ve watched many times,” Hocane added.

The newlywed actor, who formerly revealed that she had at least 3 projects lined up in India after her Bollywood debut nine years ago before she had to step back from them because of the political tension between the neighboring countries, also shared that she was receiving offers for OTT scripts these types of years; however, she couldn’t do them because of certain reservations.
“Because when you grow older, you realize your responsibility as an actor and constantly need to provide back,” explained the ‘Jawani Phir Nahi Ani’ actor. “So, the best thing I look at now once I’m offered any project, be it from Pakistan or India, is the script.”
“If the circumstances allow, I will genuinely want to return back to Mumbai and shoot once more,” she maintained.
It’s far worth noting right here that Hocane’s maiden Bollywood film, Radhika Rao and Vinay Sapru’s romance drama ‘Sanam Teri Kasam,’ co-starring Harshvardhan Rane, initially opened to mixed opinions from critics in 2016. Owing to the cult status that the movie has managed to gain over the years, it was relaunched in theaters last month.
