Apple’s CEO, Tim Cook, has teased a new product launch on X, formerly Twitter. In the post, he says, “Get ready to meet the newest member of the family.”
As with most Apple teases, there’s not much information provided, nor a hint at what’s next. However, Mark Gurman, Apple Insider, believes this would be iPhone SE 4.
For quite some time, it’s been predicted and anticipated that Apple would launch the next iPhone SE model. The SE has typically been the entry-level device in the lineup, offering a cheaper alternative. It first launched in 2016 and was followed up with two other models in 2020 and 2022.
Late last week, Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman revealed that the long-awaited iPhone SE 4—the first cheap Apple handset for 2022’s third-generation iPhone SE—could arrive this week. While Powerbeats Pro 2 showed up as he anticipated, apparently, we might be waiting a little longer, but there could still be a few other Apple announcements to wait for the chance.
In another post on X, Gurman wrote that while the arrival of the new budget iPhone is “still imminent,” a launch this week isn’t a certainty. Instead, he writes that it “should be announced by next week, when the organization is holding product briefings.”

The new iPhone SE is still being implemented and should be reported by next week when the organization is holding item briefings. Tomorrow there’s a smaller declaration. For Friday, Apple Vision Pro reps are connecting to the press about an announcement to come.
However, fans have been left disappointed as they were expecting the launch on Tuesday. Considering that the iPhone SE 4 has been hyped up considerably, expectations of getting to see what was on offer were high. Eminently, the iPhone SE 4 is expected to be like the iPhone 14 and get large numbers of the significant parts from the iPhone 16, including the latest chip (A18), 8GB RAM, and a boosted camera.
As far as the Apple iPhone SE 4 price is concerned, then do know that it is expected to be almost Rs 49000 (just under $500 in the US). Last week (Feb. 7), Gurman posted this: “NEW: Apple plans to launch the updated iPhone SE as soon as next week. Major features include iPhone 14-like design, A18 chip, Apple Intelligence, greater screen, and USB-C.”
