To enforce road safety and discipline and nip the evil of traffic violation in the bud, the Lahore traffic police have issued a hefty fine of Rs. 1,54,000 to a motorcyclist in Mughalpura for incessantly violating the traffic rules. This excessive fine depicts the strong determination of traffic authorities to crack down on habitual offenders and guarantees alignment with traffic rules and laws.

According to the reports of the Chief Traffic Officer (CTO) the motorcyclist committed to breaking the traffic rule for the 86th time, which means he was warned many times before, but he used to commit violations. These included 73 instances of riding without a helmet, nine cases of ignoring traffic signals, three one-way traffic violations, and one instance of lane indiscipline. The cumulative nature of these infractions resulted in a massive fine, which is nearly equivalent to the cost of buying a new motorcycle.

The motorcycle of the traffic rule violator will be in the custody of police until he pays the required amount of fine to the authorities. This huge amount of fine imposed by the traffic police serves as a warning for others who incessantly break traffic rules.
