Pakistan’s AirSial and Hungary’s Wizz Air are set to commence flight operations between multiple Pakistani cities and Abu Dhabi. This is the major development, and the agenda behind it to improve air connectivity between UAE and Pakistan. The agreement marks a significant milestone in the strengthening of bilateral ties, trade, and travel between the two nations. 

Faisal Niaz Tirmizi, Pakistan’s ambassador to the UAE, has given guarantee of the development in a statement to Arab News on Friday, emphasizing the solid partnership between Pakistan and the UAE. The Ambassador discussed about the expansion in flight operations depicts the dedication to improve travel, catalyzing trade relations, and reinforcing people-to-people connections. 

Agreement mentions that AirSial, a private Pakistani airline, is likely to commence flights from three major cities in Pakistan to Abu Dhabi, providing more travel options for citizens and business communities. Similarly, Wizz Air will initiate flights between Abu Dhabi and two Pakistani cities, providing affordable and accessible travel choices.

About AirSial and Wizz Air 

Airial’s headquarters are Sialkot based, was launched in 2020 as a private airline. Its first domestic flight took place on December 25, 2020, while its international operations started in March 2023 with flights to Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The airline later expanded to Muscat, Oman, in June 2023. 

Wizz Air, a low-cost airline group based in Saint Helier, Jersey, operates through a number of subsidiaries, including Wizz Air Hungary, Wizz Air Malta, Wizz Air Abu Dhabi, and Wizz Air United Kingdom. The airline serves destinations all over the Europe, the Middle East, North Africa, South Asia, and Central Asia.
