Former Pakistani pacer Mohammad Amir has chimed in on the never-ending discussion about who is the better hitter between two of modern-day cricket’s greats, Virat Kohli and Babar Azam.
During an interview, Mohammad Amir noted that while both are very gifted and perform well, emulating what Kohli has accomplished in his career is nearly difficult.
The former bowler referred to Kohli as a legend, stating that in his decade-long career, he accomplished things that other batters around the world could only dream of.
“What Virat has achieved in his career, I don’t think any of the current cricketers will reach him. “I don’t think any other cricketer can compete with him,” Amir added.
The controversy over which of these two batting greats is superior has raged for a long time, with many former Pakistani and Indian cricketers voicing their opinions.
Several former cricketers and analysts believe the all-round leader has an advantage over Virat Kohli, while others, such as Amir, believe Kohli is the better batter.
While the discussion over who is the better hitter will rage on, there is no doubting that both Kohli and Babar are great players who have already created a name for themselves in cricket.
