Exciting news for fans of electric vehicles (EV) Remember the GiGi electric hatchback presented by GUGO Engines at the Pakistan Auto Show (PAPS) 2023? After a break of around 1.5 years, the organization has returned with another update, reporting the launch of one more EV for the local market.

In the latest teaser on its social media platform, GUGO Engines shared a sneak peek of an upcoming electric vehicle. The picture uncovers a partially illuminated front fascia, exhibiting smooth, modern design elements that suggest a futuristic look. The sharply outlined headlights give the vehicle a striking, strong appearance that makes sure to turn heads.
As per sources and expert analysis, the upcoming electric vehicle in Pakistan could be the Dongfeng Nammi 01, a C-section electric hatchback, with the launch anticipated within the next two weeks. All relevant information about the specifications of the vehicle has not been revealed by the company at this point.
Inside, the hatchback includes a spacious cabin with two-tone variety choices, a 5-inch LCD instrument board, and a 12.8-inch floating central touchscreen. The screen supports intelligent voice control and mobile remote functionality.

The vehicle offers two lithium iron phosphate battery setups: a 31.45 kWh pack for a range of 330 km and a 42.3 kWh pack offering 440 km, as indicated by the CLTC cycle.
Outfitted with a front-mounted super synchronous motor conveying 70 kW (94 hp) and 160 Nm of torque, the Nammi 01 accomplishes a maximum speed of 140 km/h (87 mph).
Safety features in the Nammi 01 incorporate Level 2 driver assistance systems, for example, blind spot checking, forward collision warning, path-keeping help, and adaptive cruise control. Extra amenities like autonomous parking, remote parking, and a single-click, lie-flat mode for the front seats improve convenience and comfort for occupants.
