It is now possible to easily access all federal laws thanks to a new website that the Prime Minister of Pakistan has inaugurated. The Android and iOS apps for the website, Pakistan Code, are also available. As of right moment, the iOS app is in beta.
The main goal of Pakistan Code is to make federal laws available to the general public, judges, solicitors, litigants, law students, and researchers, wherever they are and whenever they need them, on any device they may have.
Criminal laws, medical laws, civil laws, and many more types of laws are among those on the list of laws you can search. To look for earlier laws, you can also travel back more than fifty years in time. The website now has 943 Federal Laws dating from 1839 to the present.
The Pakistani Constitution, business rules, and other information are also available on the website. For quick tracing of Federal Laws, the programme has a QR Code. Additionally, it has been watermarked, proofread, and evaluated laws.
In order to stop cyberattacks, further cyber security measures have been implemented in compliance with NTISB directives.
The Federal Minister for Law and Justice Senator Azam Nazir Tarar, Parliamentary Secretary Mehnaz Akbar Aziz, and Secretary Law Raja Naeem Akbarfor’s work on the Pakistan Code website and applications received praise from the Prime Minister.
Additionally, he claimed that the debut of the Pakistan Code app was a historic event that opened the door to Pakistan’s legal system being digitalized.
